Simultaneous or consecutive translation requires a vast experience of the translator as well as a profound and detailed preparation of the topics to be discussed during the event, being it a congress, work meeting, cultural event or tele-conference.

Simultaneous translation

Simultaneous translation is performed by two translators who work in a booth, while participants, provided with earpieces, listen to the translation. Translation is made simultaneously, that is, in real time.

The need for two translators is vital, as the high degree of concentration needed requires that translators take turns.

Equipment can be leased from specialized stores.

The cost of simultaneous translation is based on the wages of both translators. Equipment leasing is not included. Any event outside the metropolitan area of São Paulo will include travel and lodging expenses for the translators.

Consecutive translation

Consecutive translation is made by one translator. This type of service is more adequate for smaller events, wherein the translator listens to the complete sentence and then translates it.

No equipment is needed.

The cost of consecutive translation is based on the type of event. Any event outside the metropolitan area of São Paulo will include travel and lodging expenses for the translator.
